I took the light rail downtown to meet Wes for a late lunch/early dinner and then we attended the Captiol Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. Last year when Arnold was the governor there were all sorts of celebrities at the tree lighting ceremony. And of course, I missed last years. This year was quite opposite, but still very enjoyable. Wes and I also got our picture taken by a Sac Bee photographer. We made the snapshots section on the web.

I overheard a little girl, about 4 years old, tell her mom (who worked at the state capitol), "Mom I really like your building. It's pretty."
