Decking the Halls

 For cooking group this month I made homemade egg nog.  It is really good.  Wes likes the store bought more because it is more creamy.  However, this homemade version has a lovely taste and is actually quite easy to make.  Martha Stewart taught me!  You can find the recipe here.  FYI...I didn't add the bourbon!

I took the day off work on Friday and felt ambitious enough to make sugar cookies.  They ended up looking like Miami puked all over them.  I can never make red frosting.  Oh well!   They were gobbled right up at the ward party on Saturday.  I don't know if anyone even noticed the Miami art deco theme of them.
