Our first crop of the year was harvested. We got our very first artichoke and it was delicious. We've got a couple of more that will be ready with in the next couple of days. I love eating from the garden.
We have had lovely spring weather so we've taken advantage of it to do some yard projects. Heaven (and everyone else) knows our backyard needs some TLC. Some day it will be beautiful. Our major project this year was to put in this little path from one patio to the other. We added grape vines on the left. These particular grapes are purple grapes and make delicious juice. On the right, you can tell we are still in the process of beautifying-it needs some help. We did add a couple of dwarf trees that will add to our little pathway. Going forward, our outside projects will pretty much consist of weed-pulling. Blast those pesky things!
