I never tire of this site! On Saturday Wes and I met one of his hometown friends and his wife (Ryan and Nichole) at the Golden Gate Bridge. They were in town for the weekend. We followed them to Sausilito for lunch and then off to tour Marin County.
They had an awesome rental car! This would be the best way to see the city. Since it was just a two seater, we drove. I'm sure it was a huge let down going from the BMW to our Honda Fit!
We made it to the top of Mt. Tam where you can get a panoramic view of the entire bay area. On a clear day, the view is magnificent. I love all the sail boats in the water. It was perfect conditions for sailing.

Pt. Reyes is my favorite. It so windy that the rangers closed the steps to the lighthouse. It is whale watching season and I was very much hoping to see a whale. Once again, it was too windy for anything but extremely choppy waters.
