proof (barely) that madre and padre came to visit

Mom and Dad White came for few days visit. We didn't do much except talk politics, eat, relax, attempt a puzzle (mom stayed up way too late!), and finally venture to the Bay Area to drive to Mt. Diablo (after making a pit stop at the Jelly Belly Factory).

Mt. Diablo ("the devil" for you spanish speakers out there) is a CA state park at has a magnificent view. On a clear day you can see into San Francisco. If you squint hard you can see the city in the picture and the Golden Gat Bridge. On a perfectly clear day, they say you can see to Mt. Shasta (that's all the way near the Oregon-Cali border). Our day, as you can see was not perfectly clear. We had quite omnious, darks clouds over head and they were strangely beautiful.Mom hates her picture taken, but I snapped a few anyway. I didn't get very many of dad and I forgot to get the camera out for most of there visit. Thus the post title-barely proof of there visit.This is what the sky looked from our vantage point.
