There are a million plus reasons CA is so great! Highway one happens to be one of the best of those reasons. The ocean is in full view the entire drive. In some stretches of the drive, on extremely high tide days, the ocean meets the highway. It is so expansive... so breath taking... and oh, so very relaxing.
The above picture is a taste of highway 1.
Bixby Bridge. During our overnight stay in Monterey, we watched the news report of somebody bungee jumping from here. I believe they were arrested.
What is this? A picture with both of us in it? It's not great, but I'll take it. By the way, one of my NY resolutions is to get pictures with both Wes and I in them. We'll see how that works out!
We took plenty of stops along the drive to take in the scenery. Wes was making me laugh most of the time.
