Our Garden Yield

This garden has become our life, but it is so awesome to see all the stuff grow. Here is what we picked from our garden in just one day.

I have also learned how to bottle tomatoes and it is a lot easier than I thought. I bottled 7 quarts on Friday night. (I know... I'm a real fun person to do this on a Friday night, but Wes was with the scouts on a camp out/kayak trip so that makes it a little better...right?)

p.s. I think egglants are the most beautiful vegetable ever

Amazing! I ache for a garden. I thought about doing some pots and buckets but found every excuse not to. Next year I will have a garden. I agree with you that eggplant is gorgeous. It is also very meaty and delicious! I have a tasty summer squash and corn chowder recipe on my blog if you wanna check it out! Love ya.

We're in the same club. We should get together and bottle tomatoes. I have a pressure cooker too! Woohoo.

Thanks for the eggplant! I made Eggplant Parmesan and it turned out so much better than when I attempted it four years ago! We didn't have to throw it out this time. And we ate all of it. And liked it! This is progress.
