You are wise to head to Utah for Pioneer Day. I had no idea what a HUGE holiday it was until I was serving my mission in Enterprise, UT and they invited us sister missionaries to ride on a float in their parade!!! This probably comes as no surprise to you but I thought it was hilarious! Small Utah towns know how to celebrate. Happy 24th in Beaver!
