Finally...

...We went for a hike. I forgot that being homeowners automatically sucked all of the weekends away from us (home repair, yard work, etc). Saturday, the weather was nice and we decided to take a little hike. Little being the key word. My stipulation was something less than 10 miles (I did still need to pull weeds from the garden). He did good and found us a nice 4 miler! It is in Coloma state park. This is the site where gold was first discovered. Wes got to try out his gold panning dish. Unfortunately, we didn't strike it rich. It was a beautiful day, so I'll consider myself rich for being able to spend it outdoors.
