Caslte Crags State Park- never heard of it? me neither until a few days ago. We didn't get around to booking a campsite until too late and this is all that was left in the state. It turned out to be great.
This picture looks like Wes has man boobs. Please note: Wes does NOT have man boobs. It was really unpredictably windy on top and I guess I took the picture at the wrong time.
What a breathtaking view of Mt. Shasta. One of these days we will tackle that mountain. For this trip however, I had a 5 mile hike rule. No hike over 5 miles total.

Hi Jen, I will have to find out about that campground, it looked great. I want to try Half Dome sometime. We will see...David attempted Shasta this year but it was so windy they didn't summitt, he wants to try it again, maybe you guys could do it togather.
Aren't you glad you are not in Florida right now.
I am glad we are not in Florida, but we still own a house in Florida so the hurricane thing is a little unnerving. Maybe more so since we are so far away to do anything to protect it.
