Before Wes left on his hike he finished up the sky light (finished drywalling, etc.) in our bedroom so I could paint. We've only been in our house 3 1/2 years now and I've been trying to decide what color to paint the room the entire time. Meanwhile I just put furniture in front of the hideous purple marker scribbles that even Mr. Clean Magic Erase bar could not get off. I finally decided enough was enough and I needed to paint before Dieter comes along. So, we picked a color:
Autumn Fog. When I first started painting I thought I had made a huge mistake with the color. I thought I was going to have to live with an absolute horrible choice since I have no intention of repainting for a very long time. Once it dried and the entire room was painted I really liked the color choice. It is quite tranquil and relaxing.
The finished product with the furniture moved around. We still need to get new blinds on the windows and put some pictures up on the walls, etc...maybe in another 3 1/2 years it will happen!
The sky light is awesome! Wes did such a gret job.
