Florida's East Coast

We did a lot of driving on this trip to FL.  Shortly after Christmas was drove to the east coast to spend time with Wes's sister and bro-in-law.  Along the way we stopped to take in the sites.  The orange groves are always a beautiful landmark.  In the middle of the state there are acres upon acres and rows upon rows of orange groves.
We took a little stop in Pahokee (mostly because the name is so cool) to take a look at Lake Okeechobee.
A nice place for a picnic...if only we had thought of that!
We drove to Jupiter Island (that's where a lot of rich people live, in fact only rich people live there!)  This is home to the famous Tiger Woods accident that led to the news of his many infidelities.  I digress.  We went there to go to the lighthouse.  We were able to walk the steps to the top and take in the gorgeous view of the intercoastal waterway.
The said view from the top of the lighthouse.
Another stop was to walk on the beach.  The beach is home to Florida's tallest cliffs.  Yes, Florida has cliffs and this picture is of those cliffs!  They are made of limestone and have been there for thousands of years.
Okay, so they aren't very tall cliffs!
