We ate well while in Russia! Mandy and Dwight were so good to us to feed us every day! We ate a couple of great restaurants. One was a bolini cafe (delicious). A bolini is similar to a crepe. Another restaurant was a Georgian place. Everything there was delicious! We also ate in alot, but Mandy got us a lot of traditional foods. Above is pickled garlic. It's actually pretty good. You eat the stems and all.
This is one of my favorites and I really want to find a recipe to make it. It is called Stolle. It's a bread roll stuffed with salmon or mushrooms and other things.
We had movie night with Mandy's kids, so we ordered pizza...Papa Murphy's Russian style. It's not quite like Papa Murphy's in the US, but okay. Also, the potato chips are a caviar flavor. We also had crab flavored potato chips.
