Short Story: We got tickets to go to a taping of "Let's Make a Deal". It was super fun and ridiculous all at once. We didn't get picked to play, but I danced so much. I think it airs sometime around November 22, 2011 and you will probably be able to see both Wes and I in the audience.Long Story: We went to San Diego for Aunt Janice's funeral. Lynnette Opp (Wes's cousin's ex-wife) lives in Orange County and came to the funeral to give her condolences. Her kids happen to be with their dad for a few weeks, so she was planning a fun-filled day in the LA area on Saturday. She and a group of friends were heading to "Let's Make a Deal" on Saturday. She invited us to come along and gave us the instructions to dress up. To be honest, I've never seen the show and I wasn't sure why we had to dress up. So...I didn't think much about having a costume and I wasn't really in the mood to stand in line all day with a dorky costume on, but as I learned, it's part of the game. We got to Hollywood early on Saturday and luckily found a thrift shop close to the studio. They didn't have a great selection, thus our lame costumes. Lynnette came awesomely dressed as a Mexican Wrestler. We got interviewed to see if we were interesting enough to get picked. I made my life sound so boring. I did not want to get picked! We finally got seated. They played music and our group seemed to get the rest of the audience dancing. The last song they played is "Down with O-P-P"! It was a blast. If there is a next time...must have a better costume!
