Thanksgiving for two

Once Wes and I decided that we would not be traveling for Thanksgiving, I was set on making dinner for just the two of us. I had never made Thanksgiving dinner on my own and I thought it sounded like a nice, relaxing way to spend our holiday. I spent most of the day before preparing the meal. We didn't have too much, but it was too much for just the two of us.
On Thanksgiving we ate and ate and ate, watched movies and ate some more.

On Black Friday, we decided to head to San Francisco to take in the sites of a busy city. I mostly people watched. We walked a lot and used the bus system to get around (a very great way to navigate the city, by the way). A trip to San Francisco is not complete until we get a giant chocolate covered macaroon from Max's, even if we didn't need it.
While we were in the city, our new renters called (after having the keys to the house for 5 hours) and told us they no longer wanted to live at the house, without expounding on the why's of their decision. It made for a lot of frustration the remaining weekend, to say the least.

We ended our day by watching the sunset behind the Golden Gate Bridge. Ahhhh!

We played Settlers....a lot. This game always brings out the worst in me, mostly because I never win (and I hate to lose!). However, I think I did okay this time around and I even won a game (Wes hates to lose too).

I can't believe your renters backed out! I hope you can get someone else in there soon without having to make another trip! How frustrating. I didn't know you guys like Settlers. I am exactly the same way with that game. I get way too competitive but I LOVE it! We played it a lot over the break. It was great.
