knockin' on my door

Meet Miss "C" and Mr. "W". They are my neighbors. We basically share a front yard. It has taken almost two years for Miss "C" to warm up to us, but now that she has I am one her friends. She asks her mom if she can ask her friend, Sister Opp, to come play. One afternoon I heard a knock on the door. It was Miss "C" and close behind was Mr. "W". They asked if I could come play with them. It was so cute-how could I resist? We played all sorts of pretend games, tag, foot races, etc. It was a great afternoon of childhood innocence.
