We made a nice little day trip to the coast. We stopped for a picnic of bread and locally made cheese close to Point Reyes. I have officially decided that we need to have more picnics. I love days like this. We had no obligations or time restraints. It's amazing how on days like this it feels like it's just Wes and me in the world. I love that feeling!
Have you ever seen those televsion commercials that talk about how california cows are happy? This little trip made me realize "of course they are happy". They seriously live in one of the most beautiful places in CA. They even get to live where humans aren't allowed to live. Yes, if I were a California cow I'd be very happy too!
This little cove was a pleasant visit. There were families wandering up and down the shore flying kites, walking their dogs, etc. Later on we were able to see some wind surfers doing their trade. I'll probably post some of those pics on facebook.
Wes loved taking pictures of me taking pictures. I was captivated with the Point Reyes lighthouse. We've been there before, but this time I noticed some new things, some better pictures.
Point Reyes lighthouse. 308 steps to the bottom. Climbing down, peice of cake. Climbing up...I did better this time than the last!

I love the California cow commercials too, I always say that when I see them. I swear they do look happy.
