Little A's big day...

(Very proudly holding my little sister 1987)

It's my little sister's birthday today. She is 22 years old and it seems like just yesterday we were in our little play room writing insurance policies for her stuffed animals. At the very young age of 3 or 4 she starting playing "Insurance" and got me playing with her. My mom had given her some old Fuller Brush order pads and old tin file box. She would put on a pair of one of her doll's eye glasses, grab her calculator, order forms and away she went writing insurance policies in a very orderly fashion for each of her 40+ stuffed animals (Mr. Hamburger, Art E. Bear, Fluffy the pink cat, etc). What a funny little girl! It sounds a little nerdy, but it was very imaginative. Amy and I spent hours together in that little play room having fun. I hope today is fun for her!
*She is on the downside of her mission in Argentina. She'll be home Feb 2010.*
