Now that you are in the position to change the world, I have a request. I know you will be bombarded for the first few months with the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, the sorry excuse of an economy, health care, Gitmo, etc. Could you please make time for my one small request? You yourself said in reference to change "Yes, we can". With that I implore you to please meet with the executives of Costco and ask why the change in the milk cartons (see my picture below). I would appreciate the change back to the normal milk carton. The new carton packaging is not conducive to easy carrying from the car to the house. Also, the past few days when I pour milk on my cereal, the milk splatters everywhere. It is a huge inconvenience, not to mention a waste of my milk.
Thank you for your time in this matter. People have said that you are going to change America. I believe that America can change one milk carton at a time.
Thanks. A very disappointed milk drinker,
Jenny Opp

that is awful.. how in the world do they expect someone to easily maneuver that giant milk carton?? I give it no longer than 6 months before some designer figures out how unpractical that is!! I am still laughing at the thought of you pouring that on your milk in the morning! And seriously Jen.. I didn't know adults drank vitamin D milk!? =)
I second your request! I loathe the new milk cartons. They ARE impossible to carry from the car to the house, AND we spill EVERY time we pour on cereal too!!
Wow haven't seen the new milk cartons, but I am seriously alarmed. We need to write letters to our local senators and make sure the media is aware of this awful new development. Obama is the man to take on this delicate matter.
Costco hasn't changed yet in our area but they better not! I've used the carton before and it is impossible not to spill! What is up with the shape of the darn thing? It's not convenient in any way!
They've had it here in MD for the last 2 years (you're lucky it's just coming now). We quit buying it, even though it was cheaper, because it was so annoying. UT, thankfully, hasn't changed yet. Should that day arrive, that will be a sad, sad day.
I totally agree! We won't buy Costco milk because of the new packaging - it splatters EVERYWHERE, especially when you are trying to funnel it into a sippy cup!
Jen, totally in agreement. My mother-in-law wrote to Darigold about our similar milk carton and they replied with an apology and said that they were in fact making new changes to the new milk cartons and they should be better. She also mailed a bunch of coupons for free milk and other dairy products. Maybe Costco just needs to hear some of these complaints as well. Our Costco isn't selling the annoying cartons yet but if you don't do something fast they may start soon!
