Traveling with Wesley is an experience I love. But, when I get home I need another vacation! He leaves no stone unturned. We hike every inch of land, climb the tallest point, and visit every historic site. This weekend we had a mini vacation. We went to Pt. Reyes. It is beautiful and if you are ever in Northern Cali, it's a must visit. We camped one night. It was supposed to be two, but I begged to leave after it rained on us the first night. I know, I am a wimp. The coast is so humid, I could not get dry. It resulted in a miserable night of sleep (or no sleep). The next morning we got up and hiked 9.4 miles to Tomale's Point. It really is beautiful. When the fog rolls in, the landscape is similar to the Irish landscape. The day after the 9.4 mile hike, we rode 27 miles on our bicycles before heading to the gym. I'm exhausted! I'm not complaining because I loved every minute of it.

This is front of Pt. Reyes Lighthouse. It was so foggy we couldn't see the water in front of us.

This is a cool picture that Wes took of the light house.
I have a hard time following instructions sometimes! It's a killer.

We hiked past an Elk Preserve. We saw large beautiful Elk all over the place.

Wes was looking over a very steep cliff. This particular point dropped down at least 100 feet. Spectacular view!

Me on the edge, taking in the view.
