Made in the U.S of A

Back in the day you were scoffed at if you didn't buy American. Today is hard to even find tags with the Made in the USA insignia. You can check out the following website to find products that are MADE IN THE USA and read why it's important to purchase American made products. It's not a complete list and I wish there was something out there a little more helpful, but it's a start. http://www.americansworking.com/ . Here are some of my favorite (with a list always growing)

1. Chapstick
2. Tropicana Orange juice (well at least the oranges are Florida Oranges)
3. Sweet's Candy (Made in Salt Lake City Utah)
4. Corvette (okay, so I probably won't ever purchase one, but it's good to know it is USA made)
5. American Apparel (Made in L.A) http://www.americanapparel.net/
6. New Balance Shoes
7. Cannondale bikes
8. Pyrex glass dishes
9. My sister in law's vintage aprons (check her out- victoriawhiteandcompany.blogspot.com)
10. Thorlos hiking socks (best hiking accessory ever) http://www.thorlo.com/

Let me know if you have any favorite Made in the USA products. HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!
