I have never cross stitched (well almost never-I tried once with the 9 year old primary girls). So I don't know what I was thinking when I took on a project like this. My good friend in Florida was due at the end of May and I wanted to make something a little special since I am not going to be able to see the baby in person until December. I decided to try my hand at cross stitching. After making a few mistakes I got this cross stitching thing down and kind of like it. It took me a few months to do, but alas it is finished. It would have been finished in time if she would have made her due date!
