These pictures are from our 1st hike of the season. We did a nice little 9 mile hike along the river. The wildflowers were in bloom and the sun was out. It was a gorgeous day.

Fun Money!
We have rule at the Opp household when it comes to spending money. Whenever one of us purchases something, the other gets to spend the exact amount on whatever they wish. (We are an equal opportunity family). Our friends have the same sort of system and they coined the phrase "Fun Money". I usually benefit the most out of this rule because I usually am not the one to purchase high ticket items. I can tell when Wes has something that he is hoping to buy. For instance, within the last month he really encouraged me to purchase a KitchenAid that I have wanted for a couple of years now and a really nice backpack. Yes, he will be purchasing a new gun soon. Who knew that he was that into guns. With a purchase like that, I will still have some fun money. It looks like I will be going shopping!

Are you in Sacramento? My neighbor is from there and she is there right now. The Smith's, they grew up in Beaver, no kidding. We are related, sweetheart. You need to find them. Also, my sister-in-laws parents are mission presidents there in Sacramento. President and sister Huff.
